ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are searching for a Social Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Media Operations Lead, the Specialist will develop subject matter expertise in the social vertical. They will provide mentorship to the Associates and Coordinators and will play a strong role in strategic campaign planning and effective campaign execution.    

     

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES 

 
  • Ensure appropriate management, customer, and supplier involvement on campaigns.
  • Assist in the creation of strategic plans to achieve defined objectives through research, tracking, and managing of campaigns.
  • Oversee campaign setup for accuracy and consistency with strategy, ensure proper setup for tracking purposes including Pixels, and Conversions.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with vendors and identify training opportunities for self and team.
  • Contribute to campaign/channel performance and process improvements.
  • Provide Client Service team support and initiate phase review if objectives change.
  • Support Strategy and Client Service teams in planning and research, own tactical plans, and vendor discussions.
  • Contribute to the partner and tool implementation process and effectiveness.
  • Participate in media buying and vendor negotiations.
  • Provide media solutions for client requests and POVs.
  • Train and mentor associates and coordinators in all areas of media operations.
   

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of media execution and/or planning experience with a focus on Digital Media channels. This ideal candidate will have: 
  • Certifications specific to digital and/or traditional paid media (i.e., Meta Blueprint, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok)  
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., Excel) 
  • Strong critical thinking skills.  
  • Working knowledge of research tools and platforms (i.e., Arima, MTM)  
  • Experience working on/with custom content, partnerships, influencers/creators is an asset 
  • Previous PowerBI experience considered an asset.
